Rio Azul Mexican Bar & Grill marked its five-year anniversary on Dec. 7 with the same bold flavors and generous portions that have been a trademark of the Palm Springs restaurant.
Chef Ernesto Gastelum rolled back the menu prices to five years ago to include select appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages. The variety of choices and fresh ingredients made attendees appreciate the restaurant's home-spun ambiance.
An official ribbon cutting with the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce kicked off the birthday party.
"We appreciate our customers, our fans, friends, family and the community for helping grow our business to what it is today," says Chef Gastelum. "Our staff looks forward to celebrating many more years serving the Coachella Valley."
