Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show

Sandy Hackett's Midcentury-seasoned Show Swings Into McCallum Theatre

Site Staff Arts & Entertainment, Attractions

Frank, Dino, Sammy, and the gang bring music and memories of the ’50s and ’60s to McCallum Theatre (March 2-3). Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show offers midcentury-seasoned impersonators who sing, swing, and tell provocative, entertaining stories. And as the son of Buddy Hackett, Sandy Hackett has some tales to tell.

Hackett produces the Vegas-esque show together with his wife Lisa Dawn Miller, who is genetically predisposed to the lore and lyrics of yesteryear. Her father, legendary songwriter Ron Miller, wrote standards recorded and performed by members of the Rat Pack.

Hackett, who stars in the show as Joey Bishop, is the only producer of a Rat Pack-related live performance theatrical production who knew these legends in their heyday. “My father had great friendships with them all,” Hackett says. “They were my family.”
