The music of Cher, Elvis and Michael Jackson will soon pour from downtown Palm Springs as part of a series of tribute concerts, organizers announced on Thursday.
Heidi Thompson, known as Cher in Las Vegas, will perform at the Forever Marilyn sculpture at the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Tahquitz Canyon Way on Sept. 30.
Scot Bruce brings Elvis back to the desert on Oct. 10, as part of a city-wide convention for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
On Dec. 30, J.Leatha heats things up for a winter performance as Michael Jackson.
"The concert we organized in August honoring Marilyn Monroe’s legacy with a show by Jeffrey Allen as Elton John was a huge success,” said Aftab Dada, chairman of P.S. Resorts, the organizers. “We are continuing with the free Outdoor Tribute Concert series to entertain both visitors and local residents with musical acts that will appeal to all ages.
