More than 250 friends joined Shear Hair Design El Paseo to celebrate the salon’s 35th anniversary at "An Evening of Luxury" on Thursday, November 12th. Guests were introduced to the newest hair and skin care breakthroughs at the salon which has undergone a state-of-the-art remodel.
Attendees were treated to special gifts and expert beauty consultations while sipping champagne and enjoying gourmet hors d’oeuvres catered by Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
“The Rollerball,” an advanced color processing system that delivers enhanced results over traditional hair dryers, made its debut.
“The Rollerball allows us to provide faster, healthier color services for our clients,” explained Alma Diaz, owner operator of the salon, the first in the valley to convert from hair dryers to the innovative new system. “The Rollerball's infrared technology penetrates deeper into the hair shaft to deliver superior results. The system is virtually noiseless since it doesn’t rely on the hot air of regular hair dryers. Clients will love the new technology because it prevents inhalation of chemical treatments and the itching eyes and scalp irritation that’s common in the semi-enclosed hair dryer environment.”
Complimentary skin care consultations and analysis were offered throughout the evening, showcasing the luxurious Le Mieux skincare line, a desert area exclusive. The Le Mieux collection is well respected by medical and aesthetic professionals, and has earned industry awards for it’s scientific breakthroughs in skincare rejuvenation. Its advanced Bio Peptide technology provides anti-aging benefits by treating problems such as sensitive skin, irritation, dryness, redness, and discoloration. Le Mieux is formulated with organic ingredients from all over the world, and is internationally recognized as a leader in beauty. The product line is widely used by celebrities and makeup artists in the entertainment industry.
Shear Hair Design El Paseo is a full-service beauty salon and one of a few in the valley carrying the popular Moroccan Oil line of Argan Oil products.
A portion of the evening’s sales proceeds benefited Living Free Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit facility providing refuge to orphaned dogs and cats.
