Around Town
Village charm prevails in the Coachella Valley, where Palm Springs’ famed Palm Canyon Drive features such stylish clothing retailers as Trina Turk and Wil Stiles as well as vintage and home décor stores to satisfy your inner modernist. On El Paseo, top national retailers — Saks Fifth Avenue, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren, among others — mix with standout boutiques and specialty shops, creating an impressive luxury corridor. Visitors walking El Paseo will also enjoy the city of Palm Desert’s public art program, which places large-scale sculptures along the median. You’ll find many more chain stores at Westfield Palm Desert, while The River at Rancho Mirage features several health and beauty boutiques and salons.
