Palm Springs Life offers fashionistas everywhere a chance to participate in an innovative contest in celebration of Fashion Week El Paseo, April 2-9, in Palm Desert.
The contest invites you to submit a photo showcasing your coolest look, essentially your best fashion statement. You can enter four photographs.
Be your own personal stylist and fashion photographer as you enter to win Fashion Week El Paseo’s photo competition.
Entrants from across the country have an opportunity to be featured on the runway in Fashion Week El Paseo 2016’s El Paseo Rocks Fashion Show on April 3.
Submit as many as four photographs of your most “stylish self” in fashions from the following categories:
• Athleisure ( stylish sports attire),
• daytime activities ( shopping, museum visits)
• work attire
• lunch or dinner dates
• elegant evening
• clubbing
• black tie
We will pick 40 images from all entries to be incorporated into the video presentation during the El Paseo Rocks Fashion Show on April 3. The Grand Prize winner will walk the runway during the El Paseo Rocks Fashion Show in an outfit of the producer’s choice with the models. Hair and make-up will be provided by Jose Eber’s Fashion Week stylist team.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning.
1. How to Enter: Beginning 3/1/16 at 10:00 am (PDT) through 3/31/16 at 11:59 pm (PDT) go to www.palmspringslife.com and look for the article titled, “Strut Your Stuff”, click where it says to enter and complete and submit the customer profile entry form pursuant to the on-screen instructions.
2. Entries: There is no limit to the number of times you can enter. Entries become the property of Palm Springs Life and will not be returned. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. If there is a dispute as to the identity of entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain with the submitted email address. 3. Winner Selection: Forty (40) photos will be selected as winners. The Grand Prize winner gets to wear their favorite fashion look and walk down the runway at the El Paseo Fashion Show fashion week. Winners will be selected by the Palm Springs Life selection committee. The Grand Prize winner is responsible for providing their own transportation and accommodations to Fashion Week El Paseo.
4. Prize: In celebration of Fashion Week El Paseo, 40 photos will be chosen to be featured in a video collage on Fashion Week at the El Paseo Rocks Fashion Show on April 3. The Grand Prize winner will walk the runway during the during El Paseo Rocks Fashion Show on April 3 in an outfit of the producer’s choice with the models. Hair and make-up will be provided by Jose Eber’s Fashion Week stylist team. No refund or compensation will be made on any cancellation, delay or postponed events. All prizes are non-transferable, have no cash value and will be deemed void if sold, transferred, auctioned or assigned to any third person. No cash alternatives or prize substitutions will be allowed except Palm Springs Life reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of greater or equal value if a prize listed is unavailable for any reason. No transfer or assignment of any prize is permitted.
5. Eligibility: Entries are open only to legal residents of the Contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, 21 years or older. Employees of Sponsors and prize providers, each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Void in Alaska, Hawaii Puerto Rico, and where prohibited or restricted by law. No substitutions or transfer of prizes by winner is permitted. All federal, state and local taxes and any expense relating to the acceptance and use of prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner. All federal, state and local laws apply.
6. Acceptance & Liability: Potential winner must submit an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance Form within seven (7) business days of attempted notification. If any prize or affidavit or release is returned to Palm Springs Life as undeliverable or does not receive a response from any potential winner within seven (7) business days of attempted notification, such winner may be disqualified and prizes may be awarded to an alternate winner, in Palm Springs Life’s sole discretion. Non-compliance shall result in disqualification and possible award of the applicable prizes to an alternate winner, in Palm Springs Life’s sole discretion. By participating in the Fashion Week El Paseo “Strut Your Stuff” promotion, each entrant accepts all risks and consequences of Entry and participation in the Entry and hereby forever and irrevocably releases and holds harmless Palm Springs Life and each of their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and the officers, directors, and employees, representatives, successors and assigns of each (collectively, “Releasees”) (i) from any claims, liabilities, law suits, judgments, losses, damages (including without limitation, consequential, punitive, incidental, special or increased damages and those related to personal injury, death or damage to property), costs, expenses (including attorney fees) under any legal theory, arising from, resulting from or in connection with Entry, including but not limited to, the entry and participation in the Entry related activity, or from entrant’s acceptance, receipt, possession, delivery, and/or use, none-use or misuse of any prize, any printing errors, any claims based upon the rights of publicity and invasion of privacy even if the Releasees were aware of the possibility of such consequences, interruption, early termination or forfeiture, in whole or in part, of any prize, even if any of the Releasees were aware of the possibility of such consequences, and (ii) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize and specifically disclaim all such warranties, including without limitation, to its quality, mechanical condition, safety, performance, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to the use of his/her name, photograph, likeness, biographical information, voice, statements concerning the contest entry, and/or city/state of residence by Palm Springs Life, or any party authorized by Palm Springs Life, for advertising, promotional and merchandising purposes (and grants all rights to edit or modify and to publish and copyright it) worldwide in perpetuity and in any and all media without additional notice, compensation, right to review or receive notice, where permitted by law. Prizes will only be awarded to a verified winner. 7. Information: Any information entrants provide to Palm Springs Life will be used to communicate with entrant in relation to this Entry. Palm Springs Life may also share this information with third parties who are participating in this program.
