Midcentury enthusiasts, take note: There’s a new bible of Desert Modern design you’ll want to know about.

The Desert Modernists: The Architects Who Envisioned Midcentury Modern Palm Springs is fresh off the press. The book — published through a partnership between Modernism Week and Palm Springs Life — covers 12 groundbreaking architects and their influential works.

The 144-page commemorative book provides a detailed account of the architects who shaped "desert modern" architecture featuring spectacular photography of their most significant and historical projects.

Modernism Week Executive Director Lisa Vossler Smith introduced the book at CAMP’s pop-up shop Destination PSP in front of a cheerful crowd on Feb. 16, which included project collaborators Modernism Week Chairman Chris Mobley and Creative Project Manager David Dixon, as well as the book’s editor Stewart Weiner and art director Richard Vaughn.
