For this project, Morraika Simonds, of An Interior Motive Designs, combined her love of sewing and all things vintage to create a Gustav Klimt inspired dress.  An authentic vintage 1931 Vogue dress pattern was used as the backdrop for an intricate mosaic, comprised primarily of paint chips from Sherwin Williams, and Thybony (Tee BONE – EE) Metallica Wallpaper.   Morraika was influenced by Klimt’s use of color, shape and pattern and wanted to create the same sort of “controlled chaos,” utilizing subtle color gradation as well as bold pieces, and a beautiful model in a sleek and subtle dress in sharp contrast with powerful geometrics.
