A pair of live camels to greet more than 300 guests was just the beginning of a fantastical Moroccan marketplace-themed event, The Vintage Club’s annual Welcome Back party in November.
Reminiscent of a street out of an Arabian Knights movie, guests could barter with storekeepers dressed in colorful costumes with more than 1,000 items such as jewelry and turbans. Using phony currency, the lively interaction was a charity-driven endeavor spearheaded by member co-chairs Esther Rosenfeld and Pamela Beck.
Each dinner table was decorated with a four-foot tall Palm Tree surrounded with Grapes and fresh Persimmon. Live belly dancing, musical entertainment, and a Moroccan themed dinner menu prepared by The Vintage Club and Chef Manfred Bräuer completed the stylish affair.
