Tony Fimbres’ roots in the Coachella Valley run deep. Born in Mexicali, he moved here as a child and became so active in the community that he now helps build it as founder and president of Statewide Services.
Fimbres became a general contractor at age 18, launched Statewide Services in 2007, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business management while growing his company.
Statewide Service specializes in both residential and commercial construction projects.
“Our team can take a job from the conceptual development and design all the way through construction, permits, inspections, and delivery of the finished project,” Fimbres says.
His firm has completed several high-profile projects, including the Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa, Desert Hematology Oncology, Desert Vein and Vascular Institute, Okura Robata Grill & Sushi Bar, The Vue Grill & Bar at Indian Wells Golf Resort, Temalpakh Farm for the Augustine Band of the Cahuilla Indians, Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs Casino, and Palm Springs Surf Club.
“My passion is establishing relationships with potential new clients and developing a viable plan to make it happen,” he says, emphasizing that he has cultivated relationships with local tribal governments. “I oversee the construction at all phases but share the day-to-day management of the projects with my team.”
In addition to Statewide Services, Fimbres owns a luxury event venue, Casa Cache. “Our 8-acre estate hosts media, corporate, and family events. … A-list celebrities, musicians, influencers, politicians, and Fortune 500 company executives stay at our venue.”
Fimbres lives in Indio with his wife, Jessica, and their three sons. The family enjoys camping, off-roading, the Thermal Racing Club, football season, and playing golf.
He loves Greater Palm Springs for its bright future and potential for business opportunities.
“The market in the Coachella Valley continues to expand,” he says. “There is a lot of land that is waiting to be developed.”
