The Uptown businesses celebrated the opening of the 2013-14 season with an open house. Stores, restaurants and galleries were filled with enthusiastic customers. Book signings at Just Fabulous with author Tom Bianci and at Trina Turk with Ross Mathews packed their stores. Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres were courtesy of the stores. New to Uptown is The Shops at 1345 in the Iconic Harold Hicks Building. Skylark Hotel has also joined Uptown. Raymond/Lawrence introduced new pop-up stores to his successful business.
