Alysha will graduate with her BA in Interior Design in three months. She currently works for Steven DeChristopher in Rancho Mirage. This 50’s inspired dress showcases evening wear indicative of its time period. Classic, simple and fitted, the evening gown is made with a brown polyester that has a slight shimmer.
Paired with a 50’s style fully lined swing coat, the coat has a unique collar that mimics Charles Eames and Eero Sarrienen’s Organic Chair and is made of a Robert Allen tweed upholstery fabric. The unique hand clutch the model is holding mimics the wire-back inspired chairs popular in the 50’s. Complimenting the ensemble with its diversity of materials and sculptural shapes, the hat is, a Nelson Ball Clock, which embodies the joie de vivre of the 1950’s.
