Site Staff Social Scene

A brand new store on El Paseo in Palm Desert continues a 40-year legacy of fine jewelry for Robann’s Jewelers.

Many loyal customers have been active shoppers for decades, while unfamiliar ones are still now discovering the uniqueness of Robann’s Jewelers enhanced by their new visibility on El Paseo. Robann’s Jewelers was founded in 1975 by Robert Kerchman and his wife, Ann (Robann) and their son Roger.

Their original store became a Palm Springs icon on the corner of Palm Canyon Drive and Tahquitz Canyon Way for 30 years. The location at the time was the core of activity in downtown Palm Springs. In 2005 they relocated to The River in Rancho Mirage.

Roger Kerchman took over the helm in 2012 after the passing of his father Robert. Roger attended the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 1980 and became a certified gemologist, trained to appraise, evaluate and identify diamonds and gemstones. Roger's daughter, Taylor, joined the firm in 2002 and has found her niché in custom designs.

The brand new store attracts enthusiastic patrons to beautiful El Paseo in Palm Desert, such a popular place for everyone – visitors, seasonal residents and locals alike, to stroll, dine and shop.
