The Fashion Week crowd experiences West Coast Destiny – March 25, 2009.
Guests at El Paseo Fashion Week’s Wednesday night event got a glimpse in to the future of fashion. “West Coast Destiny” looked into the present and future of West Coast fashion as designers showcased their unique perspectives on fashion and accessory design. Designers Candice Held, Neely Shearer of Issho, Scarlet Chorvat and Alison Renner of Shimmi and jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino wowed the crowd with swimwear, scarf-inspired fashions and fantastic jewelry. In the audience were many up-and-coming accessory and fashion designers from Los Angeles and the Coachella Valley who were there to lend support.
