The skies will light up on July 4th at the Agua Caliente Spa Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage, as well as other spots in Palm Springs and around the Coachella Valley.

The skies above Greater Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley will light up on July 4th with traditional firework displays.

Here is a breakdown on where to find them.

PALM SPRINGS

There is nothing more American than baseball and fireworks. Somewhere you have to work in the apple pie. Take in a Palm Springs POWER baseball game starting at 6:05 p.m. against Southern Nevada at Palm Springs Stadium. Fireworks follow at 9:15 p.m. in the stadium.

Free admission to the fireworks show starts at 8 p.m. Bring blankets and chairs and sit on the field after the game is over.

You can also watch the fireworks from the Palm Springs Swim Center, just adjacent to the stadium. The pool party starts at 2 p.m. and lasts until the fireworks conclude. Admission is $2 for children (ages 4-12) and $6 for adults. Parking is located off Ramon Road just before Sunrise.

Aerial View: Visit the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway July 4 and gain one of the best seats in the valley looking down as the fireworks displays take place. The first Tram car up July 4 will be at 8 a.m. and the last car down is 9:45 p.m.

PALM DESERT

Brings blankets and chairs and join the festivities at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park. The National Anthem begins the program at 7:15 p.m. followed by a concert. Music will accompany the fireworks at 9 p.m.

Drinks and snacks can be bought at the event.

You can view the fireworks from the Palm Desert Aquatic Center, which opens at 11 a.m. July 4. You can watch the fireworks from their pool deck. From noon to 6 p.m., a special barbecue will offer hot dogs, hamburgers, and trimmings for purchase. The snack bar concession stand will stay open until 9 p.m.

INDIO

The fireworks come early at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio. The Cabazon Band of Mission Indians offer a free fireworks display at 9 p.m. June 30 at the Eagles Falls Golf Course. Bring blankets and folding chairs, and refreshments will be available for purchase.

RANCHO MIRAGE

Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa hosts a Fourth of July fireworks display at 9 p.m. July 4 across the street from the casino. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs. Beverages and snacks will be available for purchase starting at 7 p.m., and parking is on a first come, first served basis.

The fireworks will also be televised live on KPSE with a rebroadcast at 10 p.m. and on KMIR at 11 p.m.
