White Party Palm Springs Recognizes Achievers with Icon Awards

Former Palm Springs Mayor Ron Oden among those honored

Jeffrey Sanker says his role can be more than throwing the best party of the year, but using White Party Palm Springs as a platform for social messages like safe sex and marriage equality.

At the recent 25th anniversary edition, Sanker wanted to recognize individuals with an Icon Award for their “unique and varied achievements…” who “best embody the spirit of the White Party”.

The recipients were recognized on the white carpet prior to the April 26 dance. Not all of the recipients were present.
