Coachella Music and Arts Festival sold out in record speed. However, not all is lost if you couldn’t score tickets to either weekend’s shows. Check out our list of activities happening in the desert, April 12-21.

Desert Daze takes place at the Sunset Ranch Oasis in Mecca, with overnight camping allowed. Catch Tinariwen and War Paint in concert. Also, stay for Chelsea Wolf, the Entrance Band, and Dahga Bloom, April 20. www.desertdaze.org

Parker Palm Springs. In 2012, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke hit the wheels of steel for his very own DJ night at this Palm Springs nightspot. Hang out here after hours (midnight-until?) to see who DJs next. www.theparkerpalmsprings.com
