Jackalope Ranch - Savor the Southwest

Overlooking Jackalope’s popular bar and lounge area, a sumptuous array of dishes highlights the new southwest menu: (clockwise, from bottom left) A grilled New York Strip Steak with smoked Shrimp Scampi and asparagus; Strawberry Angel Food Shortcake; Grilled Prime Pork Chop with Bourbon mashed sweet potatoes; House Speciality-smoked and grilled Baby Back Ribs with mac-n-cheese and coleslaw; seared sustainable Fish of the Day with sweet corn, wild mushrooms, micro spinach and Chimichurri sauce. And from the small plates section, Seasonal Tomatoes with Burrata cheese, basil and balsamic syrup, and Shrimp Louis with grilled Artichoke Bottoms, micro greens, and spicy Louis dressing. Featured wines are Shafer Chardonnay, 2009, and Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon, 2008

If you haven't experienced genuine ranch hospitality in the Coachella Valley, you haven’t been to Jackalope Ranch. Located on Highway 111 where La Quinta meets west Indio, Jackalope is not just a restaurant, it’s a destination unto itself. The finelycrafted custom built and furnishing, 22,000-square-foot lodge sits on 6.5 acres of lushly-landscaped grounds with gardens and water features that provide a unique, park-like setting for special events or just a night out with family and friends.

Dine on classic California ranch Barbecue with flavors inspired by the spices of the southwest and Old Mexico. Everything is designed from scratch, starting with the fresh tamales to the ‘Kaiser Cut’ USDA certified prime pork baby back ribs. Meats are smoked over a variety of woods to enhance their flavors. Rubs and sauces are made in-house.

Jackalope Ranch is where everyone comes together. Dine at booths or tables in the main dining room, where you’re surrounded by high ceilings, beautiful art and custom furnishing. Meet friends in the Grand Saloon to enjoy live entertainment, craft cocktails and beverages and the best happy hour in the desert. Heaters, misters, and fire pits make the outdoor Palapa Bar a great place to hang out any time of year.  See More...
