“It wasn’t even on my radar to work with youth, but once I started, I knew that’s where I needed to be,” says Kroeker, a Palm Springs native. Having been with Safe House for more than 10 years, she receives emails from teens telling her about the difference she made in their lives. Her helpful nature is evident in her side business as well. After her first daughter was born, this mom of four started Coachella Valley Mama Fitness to pursue her passion for fitness and to create a community of moms.
