In addition to performing brain and spine surgeries at Desert Regional Medical Center, Fiani spent his seven years of residency publishing dozens of peer-reviewed papers and earning the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons’ Resident Achievement Award. Next, he hopes to step out of the operating room and into the studio as a medical media correspondent. “I’d love to have a TV show … where I can be involved with educating people in their own home,” he says.
