Stout, a desert native, left the area for nine years to play college and minor league baseball. Injury coincided with his decision to put his real estate license to work. He returned in 2010, during a depressed market, but determination and resiliency saw him through. Now, he’s a team leader of 12 agents and a top producer. “Coaching and managing people is a great passion of mine,” he says. “It’s rewarding to see a young agent succeed.” Stout and his wife, who have three children, concentrate their charitable efforts on the Pendleton Foundation and Young Life ministry.
