CODA Gallery hosted a well-attended opening reception featuring Art Paul's collection of work titled "Head Games” on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
In honor of Paul’s position as founding art director at Playboy, a number of men arrived dressed as the magazine’s publisher Hugh Hefner and women in bunny outfits. Filmmaker Jennifer Kwong, who is filming a documentary titled “The Art of Playboy” focusing on Paul and his profound influence on Playboy and his groundbreaking contributions to magazine design, interviewed several guests, as well as the gallery owners throughout the afternoon. The exhibition, which runs through March 26, generated a great deal of interest for his head drawings.
