Davis Meyer “wasn’t thrilled” about migrating from the Bay Area to Palm Springs in 2005 to live near her husband’s family. But the destination grew on her so much that she’s making a career of convincing the whole world to come visit.
At the CVB, she’s developing an ambassador program that helps locals get to know the area more intimately.
“Even people who grew up here don’t know about a lot of the off-the-beaten-path things that make this area so special,” she says. Then they can share that insider knowledge with visitors.
