Ethan Bartlett

Ethan Bartlett, from Plano, Texas, has designed a fashion collection of upscale street wear for men and women. With an emphasis on nightlife, he incorporates a contrast of bright colors and strong silhouettes. Ethan is inspired by geometric shapes, with the collection’s color story coming from the graphic prints of his chosen fabrics.

Adelle Louise Burda

The inspiration for Adelle Louise Burda’s knitwear collection is the traditional rural attire worn in the former Russian Empire. She incorporates its patterns, color schemes, and fanciful embroidery. Adelle employs numerous knitwear techniques, such as crochet, knotting, braiding, and weaving.

Hannah Childs

Inspired by style icon Audrey Hepburn and the 1950s, Hannah Childs’ first fashion collection features classic, feminine silhouettes for day to evening. Her color palette is burgundy, navy, cream, and mauve. Hannah’s love of the classic look of equestrian wear fuels her hopes to modernize the equestrian apparel market.

Kristine Flanigan

“Electric City” is the name of Kristine Flanigan’s active-wear collec-tion. It is inspired by the culture, lights, and nightlife of Los Angeles. Fashioned for the woman that is always on the move, it is a versatile wardrobe to wear from the gym to a night out with friends. Fabric choices include neoprene, metallic mesh, stretch velvet, and sweatshirt fleece.

Paul Hernandez

From beautiful, ocean-dominated San Diego, Paul Hernandez draws inspiration for his debut collection from a sea sponge. Showing a contrast of architectural and soft combinations, he introduces garments that are very ladylike and feminine. Paul is an avid classical and jazz musician who admires designers such as Alber Elbaz, Valentino, and Cristobal Balenciaga.

Airi Isoda

Her bachelor of architecture degree and five years of architectural experience is the inspiration for Airi Isoda’s collection. She strives to find the connection between architecture and fashion, reflecting architectural and urban landscapes. Her ready-to-wear collection, titled “Building Clothes,” is designed to connect the wearer of the garment to the surrounding urban environment. In her designs, Airi uses building materials such as wood, metal cables, house paint, and concrete (for jewelry). She is a citizen of the world, having lived in six countries.

Pam Mbanga

Originally from Zimbabwe, Pam Mbanga has created a striking menswear collection, pairing British tailoring with African textures and prints. Her inspiration is derived from the “modern day warrior” who wants to make a statement and stand out in a crowd. Pam lists Vivienne Westwood, Karl Lagerfeld, and Jean Paul Gaultier as designers who inspire her.

Alexandra Paulus

The Edwardian Era inspired Alexandra Paulus’ menswear collection. She mixes essences of the time period with equestrian details in a color palette of burgundy, olive, mustard, charcoal, black, and electric blue. This Salem, Oregon, native admires the work of Alexander McQueen, among others.

Kamelia Stojanikova

Kamelia Stojanikova’s first fashion collection is for young boys. She garners inspiration from Americana looks in the 1930s — a blend of the Golden Age of Hollywood and the Great Depression. Kamelia features classic “little boy” silhouettes with a creative twist. Bright and colorful, the collection plays with other trends of the ’30s: knickers, plaid, and denim. The designs are made of fabrics a 5-year-old boy would be excited to wear.

Hualei Sun

Hualei Sun was born and raised in China. For her debut collection, she was inspired by the female characters in video games. These virtual women are beautiful, determined, strong, and full of courage. Hualei depicts this in her fashions that are studies in contrast, such as chiffon and leather. She also pays homage to her heritage with a touch of Oriental-inspired print fabrics.
