Christine Ko’s inspiration for her debut collection is the “idea of time.” The Houston, Texas native seeks to bridge the gap between memories and realities with her garments, featuring both practical and whimsical features. Her color scheme of plums, taupes, and other jewel tones is frequently seen in historical British hunting gear. Ko juxtaposes couture elements from the past with modern and futuristic shapes to give her womenswear a feeling of modern luxury with a bow to the past.
