Taurus: April 20–May 20

If an expense is truly an investment, don’t question the outlay. Be frugal where the outcome is merely pleasing, and go all in for what will benefit the future. You should be deep into a psychological study that expands your consciousness.

Gemini: May 21–June 20

Close allies are radically transforming their value systems that include your intrinsic contribution to mutual growth. Many can show you the big picture, but the map is weakened from lack of due diligence. Take responsibility for sweat equity.

Cancer: June 21–July 22

Your mother wit: When loved ones are children, you fret about their welfare because you feel so strongly for or about them. If you are a helicopter parent, you inject yourself into the drama. Love from afar. Trust their integrity.

Leo: July 23–Aug. 22

Take an active role in a group initiative to move toward a goal. Refine ideas with input. You are impelled to lead and integrate communications with the help of a digital network. Speculation is risky but exhilarating. Go play.

Virgo: Aug. 23–Sept. 22

Creativity is high, and you will require a gestational peacefulness. Be alone in nature, and realize deep urges are re-creating. You can form something from nothing and welcome new life. Curb busyness; he who stays too long misses the ending.

Libra: Sept. 23–Oct. 22

Take the initiative in new alliances, as you are inspired by what could be. They may be moving too fast; give them space and gentle reminders. Balance the esoteric with a realistic bottom line. All will come together when a unanimous value is reached. Do it.

Scorpio: Oct. 23–Nov. 21

Goal setting should include service to the community. Short, sweet road trips increase perspective. Go. However small, a special peer group supports you.Two sibling-type relationships have information critical to your success. Humbly ask for an opinion.

Sagittarius: Nov. 22–Dec. 21

Can you pray or meditate in your domestic environment — a favorite view or sacred space? Come off the road and into reverie. You are too busy to focus. Down-time will redirect energies with less superficial input.

Capricorn: Dec. 22–Jan. 19

Don’t grumble that you work so hard. You are equipped for the tasks at hand. Be a self-starter if all others lag. Wild success is yours if you observe one simple truth: Responsibilities of others are not your concern. Be discerning with your need to help.

Aquarius: Jan. 20–Feb. 18

Brilliant concepts of the future are your reality. You can be prophetic, but avoid investing in dark endeavors. Curiosity is not concurrence. Know when to turn back to the light, setting an example.

Pisces: Feb. 19–March 20

Neptune is your planet, and it’s so active. Nothing is real, and anything is possible. Neptune energy is sub- and unconscious. Check your dream state, mystic developments, and illusions. Counsel others in empathic moments. Lift the planet.

Aries: March 21–April 19

Your value has increased with the cost of living. Consider a matching raise in your rate card. Others are charging more for less. Have confidence in the worth of your product or service, and worry less about what they think of the invoice.

Liberace
Liberace
May 16, 1919 – Feb. 4, 1987

Lee, as his friends called him, discovered Palm Springs in the early 1950s when it was a quaint village where movie stars came to escape the spotlight of Hollywood. Here, he let down his guard and entertained friends at four houses that he owned in town, most famously the Spanish Revival known as The Cloisters. It was his sanctuary — even after his happy life took a turn in 1982, when his former chauffer and lover, Scott Thorson, filed a palimony suit. Liberace never acknowledged his sexual orientation or relationship, even after he was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in 1985. He continued throwing lavish parties at The Cloisters until he died.
