Football took Oscar Lua from Indio High School to USC to the NFL, where he played for the New England Patriots alongside Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and childhood idol Junior Seau.
But the desert’s “exceptional quality of life” drew him home, where he runs a general contracting firm with projects like the Augustine Casino expansion, O’Caine’s Irish Pub in Rancho Mirage, and a cosmetic surgery center in Beverly Hills.
He’s passionate about youth sports, serving as a board member of Boys & Girls Club of the Coachella Valley and with the USC Trojan Club of the Desert.
