BACKGROUND
The Trina Turk brand started small in 1995, in a spare bedroom of her and husband Jonathan Skow’s Los Angeles home. She pulled inspiration from vintage cuts, bold colors, and striking patterns that complement every occasion.

This unique point of view was instantly embraced by department stores and specialty boutiques, receiving rave reviews. The rest is history.

LIFE PHILOSOPHY
Don’t take yourself too seriously!

PERSONAL STYLE
Graphic, simple, with an occasional vintage ethnic garment — especially in the desert — and strong jewelry.

MUST-WEAR FOR DESERT COOL LOOKS
Wear white, wear color, wear prints — it’s more fun! As much as I love to wear black, it just doesn’t feel right in the desert.

Her Favorite Things

Staycation
Our house, the Ship of the Desert! We try to escape to Palm Springs as often as we can.
