Rob Cutbirth brings a diverse legal practice to the Coachella Valley, helping his private and public agency clients meet their business, employment, insurance coverage, and litigation needs. From restaurants and national retailers, to cities and public schools, to blue-collar steel companies, he is dedicated to finding creative and cost-effective solutions that help his clients build and maintain strong relationships.

Rob is also co-owner of the nationally known Crossroads Kitchen restaurants, one of the nation’s top overall and fine dining vegan restaurants — where Katy Perry, Travis Barker, and other celebrities regularly come for fantastic meals and service. “I use what I have learned as a restaurant and business owner to provide practical tips, rather than advice that doesn’t work in the workplace or isn’t cost-effective,” Cutbirth says. “Every business owner wants the best advice possible, so understanding their challenges and problems, because I live them every day, helps make sure I can be their trusted advisor.”

After practicing in Sacramento and San Francisco for more than 30 years, Rob became an empty nester, so he moved to Palm Springs to enjoy a new quality of life for which the desert is known — especially hiking and other outdoor activities, as well as the opportunities to make new friends and participate in the rich offerings of arts and entertainment. “Very nice people have welcomed us, and we truly could not be more appreciative.” Joining SBEMP Attorneys, he gets to remain a part of a top-notch firm that takes care of its clients through quality representation, but with a work-life balance in his new “home” where he plans to be for a long time to come.
