The International Desert Flower, Fragrance and Garden Show bloomed once again at The Shops on El Paseo April 5 to 7. The event celebrated the natural beauty of the area and paid tribute to The Living Desert, which promotes education, preservation and appreciation of the world's deserts. Guests enjoyed an exclusive desert plant sale from Palo Verde Garden Center at The Living Desert combined with live entertainment, fashion presentations, floral designs and demonstrations, orchid, cactus and succulent displays, green energy exhibits and expert speakers. In addition, Cos Bar on El Paseo featured an exclusive fragrance designer each day, including Creed and Maison Francis Kurkdijan from Paris.
The Show kicked off with an Opening Gala Celebration and Awards Ceremony, hosted by KNEWS' personality Bill Feingold, held on Friday night, April 5th.
Honoress include Lily Garfield, founder of Cos Bar, fragrance designer Ramon Monegal of Barcelona and Renova Energy. Events were held in the "Dome," a temporary 60-foot futuristic and modern inflatable architectural structure in the parking lot between Ocotillo and Monterey just south of El Paseo.
