Old Town La Quinta hosted their 2nd Block Party event on September 5, 2015. A portion of the proceeds from the evening’s food and beverage sales from La Rue Café Wine Bar, The Grill on Main, Stuft Pizza Bar and Grill, La Quinta Brewing Company, Old Town Coffee Company, Solano’s Infusions and Morelia’s Fruits & More helped to support local nonprofit organization Desert Cancer Foundation.
The attendance far exceeded expectations as the evening’s venue setting and wonderful weather helped Block Party attendees enjoy fabulous entertainment by The Refills, Trill and The Toast and Jam Band. Enthusiasm, energy and excitement was all around and the common question being asked was “When is the next Old Town La Quinta Block Party?” Old Town La Quinta and The City of La Quinta have scored a huge success with the Block Party format and provided awesome entertainment in an amazing setting to help support Desert Cancer Foundation. It was a win- win for all who participated and attended.
