German artist Kim A. Tolman, who lives in Palm Springs, is being featured at the desert's largest art venue, MAD.KAT Gallery in Rancho Mirage. Rubine Red Gallery's latest show is "Just Bloom" by Michael Griffin. Griffin's new show expands his chrysanthemum flower inspired series by taking oil forms to higher levels of dimensional color, depth, and light. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Feast on a Baja-inspired three course meal crafted by Chef Ysaac Ramirez at Drift in Palm Springs. The three-course meal will be paired with Bozal Mezcal. The dinner will feature live fire dances and music by Coachella Valley-based duo Las Tías. The experience is $80 per person and will be charged on site.
