As leaves turn golden and visions of holiday celebrations begin to form, Greater Palm Springs spas are whipping up spicy, indulgent spa services to add a welcome touch of glamor and luxe to the months ahead. They’re tasty, smell heavenly and are guaranteed to be calorie-free.
Elements Spa at Hilton Palm Springs is highlighting the Apple Harvest Facial, a spicy treat that includes a peel using apple stem cells and a cranberry-pomegranate mask; and the Pumpkin Spice Pedicure, which relies on natural pumpkin enzymes to exfoliate dry, hard skin and moisturize with a creamy souffle mask, leaving a smooth, glowing surface for pretty polish.
Pumpkin, along with a host of delicious spices, also features in specials at The Well at Miramonte Resort & Spa. The Pumpkin Spice Body Polish incorporates Vitamin C to protect from free radical damage, copper and zinc to boost collage and a finishing pumpkin spice lotion to hydrate the skin. The Fall Splendor Massage is a traditional Swedish affair enhanced with mandarin, fig, pimiento berry, cognac, cardamom and saffron blended into jojoba, safflower and sunflower oils. The Well is also offering a “Buy Two, Get One for You” special for holiday certificates.
Spa La Quinta at La Quinta Resort & Club is serving up two delicious, boozy seasonal treats through the end of the year: Rum Plum Plum Plum begins with a buttery, rum-infused brown sugar scrub and then a deeply moisturizing application of melted mango and cocoa butters lightly scented with plum. The Buttered Rum Pedi on the Rocks includes a soak in whole milk and an exfoliation with brown sugar, premium aged rum and rice bran oil. Tootsies come out smooth and smelling faintly of butterscotch.

To really dissolve the holiday’s inevitable stress, Spa del Sol, Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel has put together a Deep Relaxation package, almost two hours of ahhhh that includes a deep tissue massage, deep-cleansing facial, and sea clay body wrap said to break up cellulite deposits, cleanse impurities from the body, and tone and tighten the skin.
