Get ready to immerse in the arts. La Quinta Art Celebration fêtes the work of fine artists from around the world amid the beautiful, waterside setting of La Quinta Civic Center Park.

The juried event features 170 carefully selected artists whose submissions are judged by 35 of their peers. “Each judges the category that they are best known for,” event director Kathleen Hughes explains. “They’re the ones who choose the artist for each category that will be participating in the show.”

Art events like La Quinta Art Celebration, which happens twice a year, bring the community together and enrich local culture, Hughes says. The programing also benefits the artists. “These are professional artists, independent artists who travel throughout the United States and beyond, exhibiting their art. We are fulfilling their dreams and making it profitable for them.”

Live music from an eclectic mix of bands will set the tone as festivalgoers arrive at the park, greeted by colorful sculptures and a Champagne bar. Tasty eats from local restaurants, top-shelf cocktails, frozen lemonade, and Napa Valley wines will be served.

Tickets are $25 and valid for all four days. Get yours in advance online or at the gate when you arrive. The festivities run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m
