Mimi Chica Apparel and Clear Channel’s Star 87fm hosted a day of music, pampering, and fashion at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. This pre-Coachella party was a by invitation event to kick off the second weekend of Coachella Music Fest. The pool party at the newly renovated Springs Pool included activities such as manicures by OPI, a photo booth, and pool rafts for lounging. Guests enjoyed passed food offerings including: Street Tacos, Chicken Cashew Wraps and Ahi Poke Spoons prepared by Chef Joshua and his culinary team. Live music was performed by the musical group Escondido featuring Tennessee artists Jessica Maros and Tyler James. The group recently appeared on the Conan show. Models posed in Mimi Chica festival outfits on a stage decorated by stylist Tara Nichols. The apparel company founded by Michelle and Paul Spoleti in 1998 has since grown into an innovative and trend driven junior's clothing company, sold predominately at Nordstrom stores.
