More than 100 leading medical practitioners in a 35 fields were honored recently in the annual Palm Springs Life Top Doctors issue. The physicians were selected for this distinction by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., a New York–based healthcare research and information company. They used an extensive survey, research, screening, and selection process, and after a careful screening of nominees’ educational and professional experience, they identified the top doctors in the Coachella Valley, as well as the rest of the United States.
These doctors were recently recognized for this achievement at an exclusive VIP reception at Christian Hohmann Art Gallery on El Paseo in Palm Desert. The event was sponsored by El Paseo Jewelers (represented by owner Raju Mehta) and Merrill Lynch, a Bank of America Corporation, (represented by Michael Harris, Rory Clerkin and Carl Baker). At the reception, Michael Matthews, the Palm Springs Life Community Relations and Event Director, recognized the attending physicians for this distinction and presented each one with an exquisitely framed plaque that noted their achievement.
